Picture here is the great American composer Leo Sowerby (1895–1968), often called the “Dean of American church music.” He was the longtime Organist-Choirmaster at St. James Episcopal Cathedral in Chicago. He died in Port Clinton, Ohio, while teaching at the RSCM summer camp Wa-Li-Ro at Put-in-Bay, where he taught for many years.
