Christmas Pageant

If you have never experienced Saint Mark’s Christmas Pageant before you are in for a treat!

One of the things that makes it so special is that it is a very simple script with only a few reading parts (and no lines to memorize!) so that children can have fun dressing up and acting out the nativity without feeling pressure to perform. By design it is inclusive with roles for anyone who would like to participate, including those who may be in from out of town or visiting Saint Mark’s for the first time.

We always have lots of room for all children to join!

Children do not need to have attended last week’s rehearsal to participate on Christmas Eve, but you do need to place your child’s name on the signup roster and (because the pageant is livesteamed) sign a media release using the online signup.

The Christmas Pageant will take place at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Children of all ages are welcome to participate! Younger children will be a part of the Nativity tableau in costume. Older children who feel comfortable reading in front of an audience will be given the opportunity to read narrative parts.

Music is performed by Saint Mark’s Children’s Canterbury Choir.
