Jean LanglaisSunday, July 31, at 10:30 a.m.,the Saint Mark’s Choir sings Jean Langlais’s haunting motet “Ubi caritas” and Hans Leo Hassler’s motet “In te, Domine, speravi.” Tyler Robertson plays organ works by Jean Langlais. All are welcome!

Pictured here is the French composer and organist Jean Langlais. He became blind at the age of two due to glaucoma, hence his characteristic dark glasses. He studied at the Paris Conservatory with the great French composer and organist Marcel Dupré, who also taught Saint Mark’s Organist Emeritus Michael Murray.
