Pictured here is the French composer and organist Jean Langlais. He became blind at the age of two due to glaucoma, hence his characteristic dark glasses. He studied at the Paris Conservatory with the great French composer and organist Marcel Dupré, who also taught Saint Mark’s Organist Emeritus Michael Murray.
