All are welcome for Easter Sunday at Saint Mark’s, with services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., both with choir and brass quartet.
The 9 a.m. service will feature the young choristers of our Canterbury Choir, singing Natalie Sleeth’s “Let All the World Be Glad and Sing” and Joseph Running’s “An Easter Carol.”
The 11 a.m. service will feature the Saint Mark’s Choir, singing Charles Villiers Stanford’s “Ye Choirs of New Jerusalem” and Joel Martinson’s “Awake, Arise!”
The brass will play works by Andrea Gabrieli, Gioseffo Guami, and Giovanni Gabrieli. Organist Tyler Robertson plays J. S. Bach’s “The Holy Christ Has Risen” (BWV 627) and Marcel Dupré’s thrilling Fugue in B Major.
