The Stitchers are a group of knitters and sewers who work on projects for Saint Mark’s.
We knit prayer shawls, baptismal blankets, booties, caps, bunnies and more.
- At the completion of a prayer shawl, all hands touch it while the knitters pray over it.
- Prayer shawls are distributed to parishioners and others who would benefit from the symbol that they are covered in prayer.
The Stitchers meet twice monthly from 1-3 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month.
Beginners are always welcome!
